Apple and grape compote for the winter

Grape and apple compote in a saucepan
Ingredients
- 200 G. grapes
- 2-3 pcs. apples
- 80 G. Sahara
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 0.7 l. water
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary products.
- Remove the stems from the grapes and wash them.
- Place the berries in a saucepan.
- Wash the apples, remove the seeds and core them. Cut into slices and add to the grapes.
- Pour in warm water, add sugar and lemon juice.
- Cook the compote for about 15–20 minutes, until the apples are soft.
- Scald the lid and jar with boiling water, then pour in the boiling compote.
- Twist.
- Turn the jar upside down and cover it with a towel or something else.
- Place in a cool place until cool.
Note
- You can sterilize the jars using your preferred method. Place them over a kettle or in a slow cooker.
- It's best to place the lids in a bowl. Fill with water to the surface. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave until needed.
- Any kind of fruit will do.

Comments
If the apples are tart, I don't add lemon juice. And I'd like to point out that it's best to choose small apples so you don't have to cut them, otherwise they'll get stained by the grape juice and won't look as appealing.
