Apple compote with frozen chokeberries
Ingredients
- 200 G frozen rowan berries
- 200 G apples
- 1 l water
- 1 pcs. star anise
- 2 pcs. carnations
- 200 G Sahara
Instructions
- Frozen berries should be scalded with boiling water before use. Blanching the rowan berries for a few minutes is optional.
- The apples are cut into slices and all the fruit is placed in a saucepan along with the spices.
- Add regular water and let it simmer on low heat, gradually adding granulated sugar.
- Bring the contents of the pan to a boil and turn off the burner.
- Let the compote cool and serve.
