Apple puree with condensed milk "Nezhenka"
Ingredients
- 4 kg Sour or sweet and sour apples
- 4 tbsp Sahara
- 260 ml water
- 300 G. condensed milk 8.5%
Instructions
- Wash the apples and peel them.
- Remove the core and cut the fruit into small pieces.
- Place apples in a saucepan and add water.
- Simmer over low heat, covered, for 20–25 minutes. The apples should become soft and fluffy.
- Add granulated sugar, mix thoroughly.
- Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently and being careful not to burn.
- Remove from heat and blend thoroughly.
- Add condensed milk, stir and put back on low heat.
- Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
- Place the hot puree into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
Note
- If you cook the dish on high heat, the apples will dry out and not cook through.
- After adding sugar and then condensed milk, you need to stir the mixture more often, as it can burn very quickly.
