Compote of ranetki for the winter

Compote for the winter from ranetki
Ingredients
- 350-400 G. ranetki
- 200-300 G. Sahara
- 2.5 l. water
Instructions
- If possible, choose ripe, undamaged apples. If the apples are damaged, carefully remove the rotten parts.
- Soak the fruits for 20–30 minutes, and then wash thoroughly under running water.
- Leave the cores in. The stems can be trimmed slightly or removed completely.
- Wash the jars thoroughly with baking soda or mustard, rinse well with water, and sterilize. Liter jars can be easily sterilized in the microwave by adding a small amount of water and microwave on high for 3 minutes.Two- and three-liter jars can be held over steam for 15–20 minutes or placed in the oven with a small amount of water for 30 minutes.
- Wash the lids thoroughly with baking soda, boil for 5 minutes and leave in boiling water until the end of the process.
- Place the prepared apples in a jar. For a delicious compote, the apples should fill at least 1/3 of the jar, but you can use more or less if desired.
- Fill the jars with fruit completely with boiling water without sugar and let them sit for 10-15 minutes so that the apples warm up well inside.
- Pour the water from the jar into a saucepan, add sugar and boil, stirring, until completely dissolved.
- Pour the prepared syrup into the jar and immediately seal with hot, sterile lids.
- Place the jars upside down on the floor, having first placed something warm on the floor. Wrap them tightly on top and leave until completely cooled (about 24 hours).
- The cooled jars can be put away for winter storage.
