Mannik with kefir and apples baked in the oven
Ingredients
- 100 G very soft butter
- 2 pcs. eggs
- 1-2 pcs. apples
- 1 pcs. an incomplete glass of semolina
- 1 pcs. a glass of kefir
- 1/3 Art. wheat flour
- 1/3 Art. Sahara
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients.

- How to make kefir-based manna with apples in the oven? To make the baked goods fluffy and airy, first soak the semolina in kefir and let it soak. This will take about 20 minutes.

- Then add sugar and butter to the soaked semolina. Beat everything with a mixer until smooth.

- Next, add flour and baking powder. Knead into a soft dough.

- Peel and core the apple and chop it into bite-size pieces. Add the fruit to the dough and knead it in.

- Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and spread the batter evenly over it. Bake the manna for 40 minutes until lightly browned. Serve hot or cold, cut into portions.

I love apple baked goods. I love the unique tartness and aroma of apples in the dough. But I've never made manna cake, I'll have to try it...
I love manniks, but I used sour cream to make them. Now I want to make them with kefir; I think it's lower in calories. Could I use 1% or low-fat kefir?
