Apple pies in the oven

Baked yeast dough pies are one of the most delicious and simple solutions when wondering what to do with a huge apple harvest. They only need 20 minutes in the oven, and any home cook can handle the cooking process.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Art. milk
  • 75 G butter
  • 35 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 pcs. eggs
  • 500 G wheat flour (premium grade)
  • 8 G dry yeast
  • 50 G Sahara
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the filling

  • 300 G apples
  • 2 tbsp Sahara
  • 1 pinch vanillin
  • 1/2-1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk in the microwave or in a double boiler to 30–35 degrees Celsius (it shouldn't be cold). Dissolve the yeast in it.
  • In another bowl, combine the egg, salt, and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add to the milk. Let sit for 5–10 minutes.
  • Sift the flour. Add it to the liquid mixture in two or three additions, mixing thoroughly each time. Knead the dough.
  • Melt the butter until semi-liquid, then add it to the dough along with the sunflower oil. Mix thoroughly again.
  • Cover the bowl with a plastic bag and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Now it's time to prepare the filling. For this, peel the apples and cut them into small pieces. Add sugar and mix.
  • After this, you need to place the plate with apples in the microwave for 3-4 minutes at 500 watts.
  • After the time has elapsed, add vanilla and cinnamon to the apples. Stir.
  • Once the dough has risen, divide it into portions weighing approximately 60 grams. Roll each dough ball into a round flatbread and spoon the filling onto it. Each ball should hold approximately 1 tablespoon of filling.
  • Pinch the edges together starting from the middle and place on a baking sheet with the seam down.
  • Leave under a towel for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake the pies for 20 minutes.

Note

To make the pies more golden, you can brush them with a mixture of egg yolk and water in a 1:1 ratio before placing them in the oven.
You can also add 1 tablespoon of rum to the filling. This will add a touch of piquancy and make the pies even more tender.
It is best to serve the dessert while it is still warm, but after removing it from the oven, it is recommended to leave it at room temperature for another 5-10 minutes.
