Cottage cheese pancakes with apples in a frying pan

Cottage cheese pancakes with apples
Ingredients
- 200 G cottage cheese (better than homemade)
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 1 large apple
- 2 tbsp Sahara
- a pinch of cinnamon powder
- 3 l. flour
- salt (to taste)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Place the cottage cheese in a bowl. Tip: If you're using store-bought cottage cheese instead of homemade, choose the high-fat variety.
- Mash the cottage cheese with a fork until smooth. Add granulated sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- The apple needs to be cut in half, the core removed and grated on a coarse grater.
- Add the resulting puree to the curd mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead the dough.
- Form the dough into sausage shapes. Cut into equal portions. It's easiest to finish shaping the syrniki by hand. To prevent the dough from sticking, you can wet your hands with water first.
- Roll the syrniki blanks in flour on both sides.
- Preheat the oil in a frying pan and fry the syrniki until golden brown. Fry them over low heat first, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for five minutes.
