"Profilaktin", as its name suggests, is intended to prevent plant infection, not to control existing pests.
Composition of the drug
Profilaktin is based on the active ingredient malathion and mineral oil. These ingredients belong to the class of organophosphates (OPs) used to treat plants and have been in production since the 1950s.

For preventative purposes, the product is used on stone fruit crops (cherry, plum, apricot, etc.), pome fruits (apples, pears), and berry bushes (currants, raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, etc.). If Profilaktin comes into contact with your skin, rinse the area thoroughly with running water and use a baking soda solution. If the medication is swallowed, take an activated charcoal tablet and seek medical attention.

- refrain from eating and smoking;
- prepare the substance in special containers that are not intended for food;
- After completing the work, take a hot shower and wash off all caustic substances;
- carry out work in a safety zone at a distance of 150 meters from children's playgrounds and 15 meters from residential buildings.
Compatibility with other drugs
