Tea with apple

Aromatic tea with apple
Ingredients
- 3 pcs apples
- 1 pcs lemon
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp honey
- 600 ml boiled water
- 1 twig mint (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the apple and cut it into large wedges, peeling it. Wash the lemon thoroughly and cut it in half. Zest one half of the lemon and cut the other half into 3-4 wedges.
- Simmer the lemon zest and chopped apple in 600 ml of water for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and let cool to 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit) (10–12 minutes).
- Place loose-leaf green tea, ginger, and cinnamon in a teapot and pour the resulting tea leaves and tea leaves over it. Let it cool for another 5 minutes and then add honey.
- Stir. When pouring into mugs, add pre-prepared lemon wedges (to taste) and mint.
- The drink of energy and good mood is ready!

I love this tea. I really like adding chestnut honey because it has a tart, slightly bitter taste. I use Delicious or Starkrimson apples, both sweet late-season varieties. It's my favorite drink from fall to spring. It also helps support my immune system during the off-season.
