Candied apples

Candied apples
Ingredients
- 1 pcs. strong green apple
- 1/3 tsp lemon juice
- 0.5 glass Sahara
- 1 cup boiled water
Instructions
- Let's prepare the ingredients

- How to make candied apples? First, wash the apples, peel them, and core them. Cut them into slices no thicker than 5 mm.

- Boil water in a saucepan and add apples for 1 minute.

- Next, we take them out with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a plate.

- Add lemon juice and sugar to the apple broth. Boil until the sugar dissolves.

- Place the apples in the boiling syrup and cook for 3 minutes.

- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the apples to a plate again. They should darken slightly. Meanwhile, let the syrup cool naturally.

- Next, return the apples to the syrup and cook for 3-5 minutes at low heat. Let the apples and syrup cool for 12 hours. Then, cook for another 5 minutes and let cool for another 6 hours. The apples should become noticeably translucent.

- When the candied fruits are almost ready, we completely remove the syrup, transfer them to a plate or mesh bag and cool for 2 hours.

- To dry, place the apples on a sheet of parchment paper and place them in an open oven preheated to 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit) for 6 hours. Then remove them from the oven and dry them in a well-ventilated area for about 12 hours.
