Baked pumpkin with apples and honey in the oven
Ingredients
- 150 G pumpkins
- 1 pcs. apples
- 1 tsp honey
- 0.5 G cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water
- 5 G butter
Instructions
- First, you need to choose the right ingredients: the pumpkin should be bright orange. Choose a small, young pumpkin. Apples, on the other hand, are best when slightly firm so they don't fall apart during cooking.
- Grease a baking pan with butter. It's best to use a glass pan, as contact with a metal surface can impart an unpleasant flavor.
- Wash the pumpkin, peel it, remove the seeds, and cut its flesh into small pieces.
- Also chop the apple and mix it in a baking dish along with the pumpkin.
- Sprinkle the mixture with lemon juice. This will prevent the apples from browning and will add a richer flavor to the dish.
- Drizzle the pumpkin and apples with honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Pour a little water into the pan to prevent the fruits and vegetables from burning.
- Place the vegetables and fruit in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Cover them with foil to ensure they cook through.
- After 20 minutes, remove the foil, mix the pumpkin with the apples and cook them for another 10 minutes in the oven.
