Salted Caramel Apples
Caramel apples are a fun and unique dessert you can make for your family or guests. There are many variations of caramel apples, but the recipe below will produce a light, soft, and slightly chewy caramel with a toffee-like flavor.

Salted Caramel Apple Recipe
Ingredients
- 400 gram apples
- 100 gram Sahara
- 30 gram Sahara
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel the apples, remove the seeds, and cut into slices.
- Place the frying pan on the fire, heat it up and add 1/3 of the sugar.
- After 5-8 minutes, the sugar will begin to melt, so now's the time to add another 1/3 of the product. Once it melts again, add the remaining 1/3.
- Add butter and mix everything until smooth.
- Add prepared apples with cinnamon.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly and fry for 3–5 minutes, until the apples become translucent.
- Remove the pan from the heat and wait until the caramel cools and thickens.
Note
- It's best to choose whole, unblemished apples. This variety is sweet and sour, with firm flesh. Soft fruits will quickly overcook and lose their shape.
- To prevent apples from turning dark too quickly, you can first place them in a container with water and citric acid (1 teaspoon per 1 liter).
- Don't stir the caramel with metal spoons. It's better to use wooden or silicone ones to prevent the dessert from sticking.
