Ingredients
  

  • 50 gr granulated sugar
  • 160 gr wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 120 gr butter
  • 80 gr oatmeal
  • 3 pcs apples

Instructions
 

  • Prepare a deep bowl, sift the flour, add cinnamon (a spoon) and chilled butter.
  • Then add the oatmeal and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Next, rub all the ingredients together with your fingers until fine crumbs form.
  • Peel the apples after washing them thoroughly, and then cut them into small cubes.
  • Take a heat-resistant container and grease its sides with butter. First, place the diced apples in the bottom and dust them with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Sprinkle the crushed oat mixture over the fruit. The oatmeal and flour layer will make the apples tender and very juicy.
  • Press the mixture firmly with a spoon. Place the container in the oven, preheated to 190°C. The crumble will be ready in approximately 20–25 minutes.
  • The finished dish can be served either chilled or warm.

Note

  1. Fine oatmeal is best for this dish; coarse oatmeal is not recommended, as it will prevent the dessert from developing a nice golden brown crust.
  2. The filling for the crumble can be varied with other fruits.
