Baked apples in puff pastry
Ingredients
- 250 G puff pastry
- 2 pcs. medium-sized apples
- 3 tsp Sahara
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Let's prepare the necessary ingredients.

- How to make baked apples in puff pastry? First, wash the apples thoroughly and cut them in half crosswise. Carefully remove the cores.

- Roll out the slightly thawed dough on a floured surface and divide it into 6 squares. Place an apple, cut side up, in the center of each piece of dough.

- For each apple, sprinkle half a teaspoon of sugar and 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon.

- Lift the edges of the dough and seal them. You should end up with little envelopes. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and transfer the dough pieces onto it. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.

Wow, such a simple recipe, and it never occurred to me that you could bake apples in dough. I just have a question: is it yeast-free puff pastry, or does it make any difference? And you could probably use other types of dough, not necessarily puff pastry. I think I'll try different variations of this wonderful recipe. We've had plenty of apples this year. Thank you very much.
