Varieties of low-growing, dwarf apple trees
Apple trees that barely reach 2.5-3 meters without formative pruning are considered dwarf. They are often more frost-resistant, but there are exceptions. Caring for such trees is much easier, and harvesting is easily mechanized. Therefore, such varieties are recommended for commercial intensive orchards. The yield of dwarf apple trees is somewhat lower than that of tall or medium-sized ones, but this is more than compensated for by the fact that the same plot can accommodate many more individual specimens, each measuring only 2-3 meters in diameter. Below you will find all the dwarf apple tree varieties.
