Apple varieties with average winter hardiness
These delicate apple trees have a hard time withstanding even minimal frost, with temperatures dropping to -5 to -10°C. They require extreme care, including proper wrapping and covering for the winter, raking soil and, if possible, snow onto the trunk area. It's best to limit their cultivation to the southern regions of Russia, the North Caucasus, and some warmer regions of the European part of the country.
